There's Something Special
About Our Land.

When George Smith first set foot on what is now Coyote Canyon Vineyard, he knew he had found something special. Over the course of 80 years and four generations, our family has harnessed the unique natural gifts of this land and cultivated an enduring passion for growing the region's best wine grapes. We're not only growing amazing grapes for our customers—we're creating a sustainable legacy to pass down to the next generation.

We Grow the Grapes Behind the World's Best Wines.

We believe that great wine comes from grapes that are grown and harvested with care. Nestled in the heart of the Horse Heaven Hills, our 1,300-acre vineyard boasts a unique terroir that gives our wine grapes rich flavors and dusty tannins you won't find anywhere else. It's no wonder that more than 40 of the Northwest's top wineries partner with us to produce some of the best and highest-rated wines in the world.

A Little Serendipity,
A Lot of Heart.

What makes Coyote Canyon Vineyard different from other grape growers in the region? Everything we do serves to protect the land, its natural resources, and the vines—so we're working with Mother Nature, not against her.

We take the time to understand the unique micro-climates of every corner of the land. Where is the sun? How does the rain fall? How is the soil different?

We understand that every winemaker has a unique style, and we're able to combine that style with our site-specific knowledge and the latest farming innovations to further enhance the quality of fruit our vineyard naturally produces.
